AWANA at FBC Brevard

FBC Brevard is proud to offer the AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) discipleship program for ages 2-18, starting this Sunday, August 11, with a kick-off for parents and kids.
 
AWANA is held on Sunday evenings with dinner starting at 5:00 pm, followed by Bible lessons, time for study and scripture memorization, and recreation from 5:30 to 7:30 pm. Parents are encouraged to arrive at 7:15 pm to watch awards in the Fellowship Hall.

April is Food Roundup for NC Baptist Children’s Homes. There is a list of items needed in the Welcome center and the Church office. Items may be dropped off in the stairwell going from the Welcome Center to the Fellowship Hall.

Easter Eggstravaganza

 
     Monday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 9
                       from 12 – 1 pm
 
      Preschoolers and elementary age-ers
Come join us for an egg hunt that reveals the real story of Easter! 
      Collect one egg of each color to redeem for prizes.


Bring Your 1 Day

Sunday, April 21 –Who is your One?
 
Bring 1 who is not in a local church to Sunday School and worship. Bring God’s goodness and mercy to someone through bringing them to Jesus.
 
Our goal is to reach over 100 visitors this day.


Passion Week Services

 
The week begins with:
 Palm Sunday, April 14, with Sunday School at 9:30am and an 11am service remembering Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem.
 
Followed by:
Maundy Thursday, April 18, with a 6pm service remembering Jesus’ last supper with his apostles.
Good Friday, April 19, with a 6pm service remembering Jesus’ crucifixion and death at Calvary–the ultimate sacrifice for our sins
Easter, Sunday, April 21 with Sunday School at 9:30am and an 11am service celebrating the foundation of our Christian faith–Jesus’ resurrection from the dead.
